How It Works
As your independent energy consultant, APPI’s staff of consultants, industry analysts, and regulatory experts will:
- Determine if and when there is an opportunity to improve the Client’s existing supply contract.
- Design and implement Request for Proposals (“RFP”) customized to the Client’s specific needs and designed to provide optimum service to the Client.
- Perform due diligence to determine qualified suppliers, request/analyze quotes, evaluate supply contracts, and negotiate prices, terms, and conditions that benefit the Client.
Keep the Client fully informed of all findings and communications with suppliers including education regarding price components (NYMEX commodity and interstate pipeline transportation) to achieve Client understanding and comfort. - Implement the supply contract when a supplier and contract have been selected.
- Review invoices for accuracy and delivery discrepancies.
- Provide on-going support throughout the term of the supply contract including natural gas market updates.
- Provide education and related support to Client’s employees responsible for natural gas procurement.
