Connecticut Association of Health Care Facilities Promotes APPI Energy
State’s largest long-term care facility membership association begins relationship with energy procurement consulting firm
Salisbury, MD, April 26, 2016—The Connecticut Association of Health Care Facilities (CAHCF) announced its selection of consulting firm APPI Energy to provide data-driven procurement solutions that reduce electricity and natural gas costs for members on an ongoing basis. Dedicated to delivering services and information to profit and not-for-profit healthcare facilities, CAHCF adds the APPI Energy program to its suite of affinity partners that benefit each member’s bottom line.
“Every day, APPI Energy identifies the wide range of energy supplier prices across Connecticut, and the lowest prices available among many reliable, competing suppliers,” said Walter Moore, President and CEO of APPI Energy. APPI Energy reviews thousands of electricity and natural gas prices every day to deliver data-driven solutions, and true apples-to-apples comparisons. “Recommendations to CAHCF members regarding when to buy energy, and which contract length is best, are based on extensive data analytics and 20 years of transaction experience,” said Moore. This includes evaluation of current supply contracts, proprietary price analytics, energy tariff analysis, regulatory tracking, and complete customer service.
“We are proud of our ability to provide services that are pertinent, timely, and concise to our members,” said Richard Brown, Director of Member Services for CAHCF. “We encourage any member who is currently locked into an energy supply contract to reach out to APPI Energy for a courtesy evaluation, and to discuss future cost-reducing solutions.” CAHCF joins the American Health Care Association and 140 affinity groups that promote the APPI Energy consulting program.
