Nonprofit association comprised of more than 500 long term care facilities and programs endorses energy procurement consulting firm
Salisbury, MD, May 11, 2016—The Illinois Health Care Association (IHCA) announced its endorsement of consulting firm APPI Energy to provide data-driven procurement solutions that reduce electricity and natural gas costs for members on an ongoing basis. Dedicated to promoting the highest standard of services in facilities and programs for the elderly and physically and mentally challenged, IHCA has entered into a partnership with APPI Energy, offering a unique opportunity to the IHCA membership to help them better meet the needs of the residents they serve.
“Every day, APPI Energy identifies the wide range of energy supplier prices across Illinois, and the lowest prices available among many reliable, competing suppliers,” said Walter Moore, President and CEO of APPI Energy. APPI Energy reviews thousands of electricity and natural gas prices every day to deliver data-driven solutions, and true apples-to-apples comparisons. “Recommendations to IHCA members regarding when to buy energy, and which contract length is best, are based on extensive data analytics and 20 years of transaction experience,” said Moore. This includes evaluation of current supply contracts, proprietary price analytics, energy tariff analysis, regulatory tracking, and complete customer service.
IHCA joins the American Health Care Association and 140 affinity groups that promote the APPI Energy consulting program. “For the benefits of our members, we provide valued services,” said Dave Voepel, Executive Director of IHCA. “APPI Energy evaluates energy bills and usage, and makes unbiased recommendations that provide cost savings, and benefit each member’s bottom line.” Learn more about the program during a 30-minute webcast at 9:00 AM (CT) on June 21, 2016.
